The bible is the sword that God has given us to do battle. It’s the guide to which we base our lives and how to live the best life we can. When we base our church services on biblical principles, we know that the Lord will speak and move in incredible ways.
Prayer is essential to who we are and what it means to live as a Christian. We pray to be closer to God and to participate in relationship with Him. It is a means of restoring our spirit and revitalizing ourselves so that we can continue to walk in God’s plan. We pray to lift up the needs of others and our needs to God, and we pray in order to fight spiritual battle by the strength of the Holy Spirit. The bible tells us to pray without ceasing and so we strive for that every day.
As Christians, our main mandate according to Jesus Christ is to love our neighbors as ourselves because God first loved us.
No matter the structure or plan that we have put in place, the Holy Spirit has the ultimate authority to guide us in a different direction. The Holy Spirit lives in us and is a helper and teacher sent by Jesus to be our guide in all things.
A Bible-based church in Fernie, BC focused on worship, prayer, fellowship, and serving others through Christ. We gather weekly to grow in faith and live God’s Word together.
